You start with boiling an equal amount of milk and water on low heat and cool it down before adding a small gajar ( Carrots ). Mix in the sugar while the mixture is still hot and simmer it further, this process should take around 40 minutes.
There is a popular Indian dessert called Gajar ka Halwa which requires grated carrots, milk, sugar, cardamom and ghee. First off you have to grate carrots and set them aside. Next pour milk into cooker/pan and add raw sugar.
Once the milk comes to a boil add grated carrots, cardamom powder and ghee. Cover the pan with a kitchen towel until the mixture reaches a desired consistency which will take about 45 minutes on medium high heat. Done!
